M-Pesa betting sites
Every paybill we have verified ourselves, marked as verified — and every one we have not, marked as unverified rather than guessed. Plus what actually resolves a deposit that has not reflected.
Updated · The Natybet Desk
M-Pesa is the deposit rail for effectively every licensed Kenyan betting site. To deposit: open the operator's own app, take the paybill and account reference from its cashier screen, then pay via Lipa na M-Pesa → Pay Bill. Keep the confirmation SMS — the code in it is the only thing that can resolve a deposit that does not reflect.
We have verified 4 operator paybills ourselves and they are listed below with that status stated. We still tell you to confirm the number in-app before sending money. Paybills change, and money sent to a wrong one goes to whoever owns that business number — not recoverable by the operator, by Safaricom or by us. The remaining operators are listed as unverified rather than given a number we have not checked.
Paybills we have verified
Verified by us on 5 August 2026. Confirm in the operator's own app anyway — this list is a cross-check, not a substitute.
- Betika — paybill 290290, account: The word BETIKA, or your registered Safaricom number
- SportPesa — paybill 955100, account: Your registered Safaricom number
- Odibets — paybill 290680, account: Your registered Safaricom number
- betPawa — paybill 290020, account: Your registered Safaricom number
Operators whose deposit details we have not verified
We are not going to print a number for these. An unverified paybill sits on the page with exactly the same authority as a verified one and none of the confidence behind it, which is the specific failure mode that costs readers money.
- Pepeta — deposit details not verified by us; take them from the cashier screen in the operator's own app
- Shabiki — deposit details not verified by us; take them from the cashier screen in the operator's own app
- Winpesa — deposit details not verified by us; take them from the cashier screen in the operator's own app
- MozzartBet — deposit details not verified by us; take them from the cashier screen in the operator's own app
- SportyBet — deposit details not verified by us; take them from the cashier screen in the operator's own app
When a deposit does not reflect
This is the most common support question in Kenyan betting, and it has a reliable sequence:
- Check the M-Pesa confirmation SMS first. If it did not arrive, the money did not leave, and there is nothing to trace.
- Read the paybill in that SMS carefully. If it is not the operator's number, the money has gone to whoever owns the one you used, and it is gone. Report the number to Safaricom.
- Wait a few minutes. Most delays are the operator's system matching the payment to your account, and clear on their own.
- Contact support with the confirmation code. Not a screenshot of your balance, not the time — the code. It is the only identifier that lets anyone trace the transaction.
- Check the account reference. Several operators want your registered phone number as the account; one wants a word. A payment to the right paybill with the wrong reference is usually recoverable by support, but only if you tell them.
The paybill scam
A number circulates in a WhatsApp group, a Telegram channel or a YouTube comment, presented as an operator's deposit line — sometimes with a “bonus on deposits made through this number” attached. It is a personal M-Pesa number or a till belonging to an individual, and every shilling sent to it is gone.
The rule that defeats all versions of this: legitimate operators never collect deposits through an individual's number, and the only trustworthy source for a paybill is the cashier screen inside the operator's own app. Not a guide. Not this page. Related frauds and how they are run are at fixed matches in Kenya.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals go back to the M-Pesa line the account is registered to, which is why the account must be in your own name from the start — the mismatch surfaces at withdrawal rather than at deposit. First withdrawals commonly trigger identity verification, which is normal rather than a stalling tactic.
Tax on winnings is deducted by the operator before the payout reaches you, which is the usual explanation for a payout smaller than the slip suggested — the two taxes are explained here. What actually holds withdrawals up, and how operators differ, is at withdrawal speed on Kenyan betting sites.
Frequently asked questions
How do I deposit to a betting site using M-Pesa?
Open the operator's own app, find its deposit or cashier screen, and use the paybill and account reference shown there. On M-Pesa, choose Lipa na M-Pesa, then Pay Bill, enter the business number and the account number exactly as the operator specifies, then the amount and your PIN. Keep the confirmation SMS — the code in it is the only thing that resolves a deposit that does not reflect.
My M-Pesa deposit has not reflected. What do I do?
First confirm the money actually left — check for the M-Pesa confirmation SMS. If it did, the deposit usually reflects within minutes once the operator's system matches it. If it does not, contact the operator's support with the M-Pesa confirmation code, the amount and the time. That code is the proof; without it, support cannot trace anything. If the SMS shows the money went to a different paybill, it has gone to whoever owns that number and it is not recoverable.
Which betting sites accept M-Pesa in Kenya?
Effectively all licensed Kenyan operators do — M-Pesa is the default rail for the market, and a Kenyan betting site that did not accept it would have no customers. Some also accept Airtel Money. The meaningful differences between operators are the minimum deposit, how fast withdrawals clear, and whether transaction charges are absorbed.
Can I lose money by using the wrong paybill?
Yes, permanently. Money sent to a wrong paybill goes to whoever owns that business number, and neither the operator, nor Safaricom, nor we can retrieve it. This is why we tell you to take the paybill from inside the operator's own app every single time, even for the numbers we have verified ourselves.
Are the paybills posted in WhatsApp and Telegram groups safe?
No. Legitimate operators never collect deposits through an individual's M-Pesa number or a till belonging to a person, and a paybill circulated in a group is one of the most common ways Kenyan bettors lose money to something other than betting. If a number arrives in a message rather than from the operator's own cashier screen, do not use it.
Why do some operators on this page have no paybill listed?
Because we have not verified theirs and we will not print a number we have not checked. An unverified paybill is worse than no paybill: it carries the same authority on the page and none of the confidence, and a reader acting on a stale one loses money that cannot be recovered.
